Upon entering Dragon’s Army, you are transported to a barren land dotted with strategically placed flagpoles. This is where you’ll position your defensive fortresses. Tapping these flagpoles reveals the energy slots for each type of fortress. Based on your strategy, tap the square with the desired skill. The game will automatically build a fortress with that skill. Repeat this process for the remaining flagpoles in the battle. Dragon’s Army automatically arranges the flagpole locations; your task is to choose your preferred weapons.

Fortress Upgrades

Simple level fortresses are sufficient for early levels. However, upgrading fortress strength is essential as you progress. Confronting powerful, highly destructive monsters requires equally strong defensive towers. For example, the initial crossbow tower has only one crossbow, firing a single arrow per turn. After upgrading, this fortress can fire two or three arrows. Similarly, after upgrading, a cannon’s destructive power triples. Upgrading the lightning fortress allows it to fire two or three lightning bolts simultaneously.
